They’re not waterproof and (to my ears) don’t sound quite as refined as the top-tier Galaxy Buds2 Pro , but they offer a few more features than the Galaxy Buds2 FE. The Samsung Galaxy Buds2 fit flush with your ears and serve up effective noise cancellation. I see them occupying a certain “sweet spot” for Samsung users when it comes to value and performance. They have a sleek, glossy design that can make the earbuds slippery to hold with two fingers. But it was something I quickly got used to – and Samsung more than made up for it with the snappy controls from my Galaxy phone. Plays well with Galaxy phones and devices These earbuds feature Bluetooth 5.2, which is a relatively newer version, so you can play music and take calls almost any Bluetooth device or smartphone. But you get even better control on Samsung Galaxy phones, running Android(tm) 7.0 and up. You can also quickly switch the audio between other Samsung gear, like the Galaxy Watch or newer Samsung TVs – where their 360 degrees mode can deliver spatial audio for movies mixed in Dolby Atmos?. It automatically launched the Galaxy Wearable app on my Samsung phone. I could check battery levels at a glance, customize the earbud touch controls, and choose between the noise-canceling and ambient sound modes.
