The world’s smallest native 4K projector There’s nothing like seeing films on the big screen, but high-quality 4K projectors tend to be very large and expensive. Enter JVC’s new native 4K models – a complete redesign of the chassis, optical units, lens system, and circuit boards, along with an efficient cooling system, means they have a smaller footprint than ever. In fact, as of September 2024, their new DLA-NZ500 and DLA-NZ700 models are the world’s smallest native 4K projectors. Despite their more compact form, they still incorporate the same high-quality D-ILA imaging devices used on the larger and more expensive models in the lineup. They also feature the same proprietary JVC BLU-Escent laser light source – 2,000 lumens in this ‘NZ500 and 2,300 lumens in the ‘NZ700 . Rich detail and color As a true 4K projector, the DLA-NZ500 can display over 8.8 million pixels. It also has HDR support and an auto tone mapping feature that automatically adjusts the projector’s settings based on the mastering information included on many HDR10-encoded UHD Blu-ray discs. That means you’ll be able to see more detail, even in less-than-optimally-lit scenes. The DLA-NZ500 also supports the dynamic HDR10+ format, so it can adjust picture settings on a scene-by-scene basis with compatible content to display beautiful, accurate images. Easy to adjust The DLA-NZ500 has a motorized lens so you can adjust the zoom, focus, and lens shift right from your viewing position. A 5-setting installation mode allows you to customize the lens positions and picture settings for different situations so you can recall them easily when needed. Accessorize it To get the best picture quality, we recommend using the DLA-NZ500 with a 4K-rated projector screen . You should also keep in mind that ‘NZ500 has no built-in web apps, so you’ll need to connect a 4K media streamer or an Ultra HD Blu-ray player to enjoy 4K content.
