Luxurious design Two features set the Escape P9 apart from other portable Bluetooth speakers – its stylish design and its high-performance 360-degree sound. The P9 is a sleek column sheathed in a weatherproof multi-filament polyester yarn, with a weave pattern designed to transparently pass the sound of the speakers behind it. The extruded aluminum handle and trim are powder coated to make them scratch-resistant. High-performance sound The P9 features four premium woofers in a 360-degree array. Each has a custom-built, full-range polypropylene cone woofer with an aluminum dust cap. The upward-firing 8-inch subwoofer has a composite fiberglass-reinforced basket with an oversized magnet. You’ll experience accurate, detailed sound with clean, clear bass. Digital signal processing and equalization are handled by two high-performance 24-bit DSP processors. The system has 100 watts RMS total built-in amplification, so you can be sure it will sound great outdoors. Music from many sources The speaker’s built-in Bluetooth lets you stream music directly from your smartphone or tablet. A 3.5mm stereo minijack lets you connect a portable player. You can also play MP3 and WMA files stored on a flash drive through the P9’s USB port. Want more options? With the Escape M1 Air (sold separately) plugged in, you can also add high-resolution Wi-Fi? streaming. This module supports Chromecast built-in and Apple AirPlay? 2, giving you lots of flexibility for streaming your favorite music over your home network. Escape remote app You can easily control your speaker with the free Escape remote app, available from the Apple App Store and Google Play. It lets you select indoor or outdoor EQ presents, or create your own. Control volume and playback. Through the app, you can even wirelessly pair two P9 speakers for stereo sound.
