It delivers high-quality, enveloping sound with a whopping “11.1.4” channels and a ton of built-in speakers, including dedicated up-firing and side-firing drivers in both the sound bar and rear surround speakers. This combination gives you true wraparound and overhead effects for sound that feels like it’s coming from every direction. There’s a compact dual 8″ subwoofer included, too, which adds deep bass impact to match the on-screen action. A new AI-based algorithm reduces distortion from the sub for rattle-free bass. Works beautifully with Samsung TVs The HW-Q990F’s powerful Atmos sound is a perfect match for Samsung’s sharp-looking TVs. The Q-Symphony feature lets the bar and your compatible TV’s speakers play together for even bigger sound. Plus, it can benefit from the AI processing power of select Samsung TVs for enhanced audio clarity. (Q-Symphony not supported by Bluetooth.) Easy wireless setup Both the sub and the rear speakers connect to the bar wirelessly for easy placement. Just keep in mind that you’ll need to plug the sub, bar, and each rear speaker into AC power, per usual. The system also supports wireless Dolby Atmos. You can pass an Atmos signal from a compatible 2022-2025 Samsung TV via Wi-Fi for cinematic home theater sound with even less cable clutter.
