11 channels of fun – in one room or in three I sometimes marvel at just how much fun a high-quality surround sound system provides. You can watch movies and TV shows, play video games, or rock out to music – even in multiple rooms at the same time. Denon’s AVR-X6700H can help you have a wonderful experience with all of these activities. This receiver’s 11 channels can power your Dolby Atmos home theater, plus stereo speakers in two additional rooms, all at the same time. What’s new for 2020? Last year’s lineup of Denon home theater receivers was quite popular with our customers. 2020 brings even more features to the table, including 8K video upscaling, Bluetooth transmission to headphones (think late-night movies or gaming), and enhanced Audio Return Channel (eARC), which lets you pass full-resolution surround sound signals from your TV to your receiver. Set this flexible receiver up your way The AVR-X6700H has outputs for 13 speakers, and it can power up to 11 at the same time. This gives you the flexibility to choose from different home theater and wired multi-room music configurations. Use all 11 channels in a 7.2.4 or 9.2.2 Dolby Atmos or DTS:X(tm) system, or go with a more modest surround sound setup and repurpose the extra channels for music in another zone. And with “old school” features like composite and component video switching, this 11-channel powerhouse will play virtually any source you throw at it. Listen to your entire music library If you’re like me, you’ll use your new receiver to play music in addition to watching movies. The AVR-X6700H lets you stream tunes from your phone or tablet through Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and even Apple AirPlay 2. It will also show up in your player list if you’re using Roon (subscription required). Love spinning vinyl? This receiver has a built-in phono input for your turntable.
