It features a powerful high-res digital-to-analog converter, custom-tuned digital filters, and ultra-quiet circuitry. This versatile component even doubles as a preamplifier for your digital audio sources and also lets you stream music either through Bluetooth or over Wi-Fi. Custom-tuned DAC and filters The CD 50n uses a potent 32-bit/384kHz digital-to-analog converter chip. It’s paired with two custom Marantz Musical digital filters to produce accurate sound with the company’s signature warmth and spaciousness. The default filter setting emphasizes a wide, deep soundstage. You can keep this setting engaged or switch over to a second filter (asymmetrical impulse response) for sound that’s more analog-like. An array of streaming options HEOS Built-in streaming architecture makes it easy to find and play the music you love. You can download the free HEOS app (available on IOS? and Android(tm)) and start streaming from popular apps like TIDAL, Spotify?, and Pandora?. The neat thing about HEOS is that it’s expandable. You can grab some other HEOS components and create an easy-to-use multi-room audio system that’s controllable from a single app. If you’re an Apple user, you can stream to the CD 50n through Apple AirPlay 2. From the AirPlay 2 interface, you can play music from your iPhone?, iPad?, iPod?, or any computer running iTunes?. Built-in Bluetooth gives you another familiar, convenient way to play music, podcasts, audiobooks, and more. Just pair your device and stream away. Rear-panel connections There are ample connections on the CD 50n’s rear panel.
